Global Shareholder Activism Roundtable

Stockholders v. Stakeholders

The IIEF 19us Global Shareholder Roundtable will focus on one of the most critical issues currently affecting institutional investors and their advisors in the U.S. and throughout the world - stockholders v. stakeholders.

The Business Roundtable’s updated Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation will serve as the starting point for a discussion of this timely topic. In addition, we will also discuss trends in Federal, State and Global Case Developments.

We will be having a hands-on discussion at which we do not expect prepared presentations from participants, but welcome a lively give and take of differing viewpoints on the important issues that will be covered.  To promote frank, open discussion, Chatham House rules will be followed so that comments made by participants will not be quoted without prior approval by the participant.  Roundtable participants are eligible to earn CLE credits in many jurisdictions.

This annual roundtable is one of our most highly rated events, and is constantly acclaimed for its diverse group of experienced industry players.  Our interactive format allows each participant to present a position and debate it with informed participants possessing alternate points of view, while allowing for interaction with fellow attendees.

Participation is by invitation only.
